Membership Agreement
Membership Agreement – The Living Connection This Membership Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between The Living Connection (“Organization”) and the undersigned member (“Member”).
At The Living Connection, we believe strong communities grow from deep roots. Inspired by the vine that brings us together, our mission is to create a trusted place where neighbors can connect, support, and grow alongside one another. We provide a searchable hub for consumers looking for local, independent service providers and nonprofits in Darke, Shelby, Mercer, Auglaize and surrounding Counties. In a world crowded with digital noise, we help these local providers stand out and be seen ̶ making it easier for people to find the trusted resources they need right here at home.
Membership begins on the date of enrollment and is valid for one month, automatically renewing each month unless cancelled in writing. Members may cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice. The Member agrees to pay a monthly membership fee as outlined at the time of registration. Payments will be processed automatically through The Living Connection’s online payment system. Failure to pay membership fees may result in suspension or removal of the Member’s listing.
As a Member of The Living Connection, you are entitled to a public profile and listing in the directory, increased visibility in your local community, access to searchable features that connect consumers directly to your services, and opportunities for promotion through Organization marketing initiatives. Members agree to provide accurate and truthful information in their profile and listing, maintain up-to-date contact information, conduct business in a professional and ethical manner, and avoid fraudulent, misleading, or harmful activity. Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in termination of membership without advance notice.
The Living Connection agrees to maintain the online directory and ensure consumer access, provide secure processing of membership payments, promote local visibility for Members through marketing channels, and protect member and consumer information in compliance with privacy laws. By joining, Members grant The Living Connection the right to publish their profile information in the public directory and to use business details (logo, description, services) for promotional purposes. The Organization may terminate membership for failure to pay fees, violation of terms, or conduct that harms the reputation of the Organization. Membership fees are non-refundable once paid. The Living Connection is a listing and connection platform and does not endorse or guarantee the work or services of Members. All transactions between consumers and Members are independent of the Organization. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
